INSTITUTION ON THE CONSTITUTION COURSE
OFFERED IN SPOKANE
[Spokane]-Most politicians are clueless when asked "Why aren't you following the Constitution like you are supposed to?" They just don't know the Constitution was never designed by its founders to be interpreted relatively. The Constitution was actually designed as a firm retaining wall around the federal government's use of power, and that wall has been breached many times in the past 80 years. We've let it happen; we have to change it.
Learn about the Constitution, its history and what the Founding Fathers thought about government in a proven 12 week seminar hosted by the Constitution Party of Spokane County. The Institute on the Constitution seminar begins on Tuesday, September 17, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at the Shilo Inn, E. 923 Third Avenue, Spokane, WA 99202, ending on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2002. The seminar is free of charge to all participants. An optional 178 page study manual is available, which costs $18.50 per copy. Call one week in advance to reserve a copy, or the manual can be ordered at first meeting to be ready for the second meeting. Please RSVP to verify if there is sufficient seating remaining, for seating is limited.
This seminar was developed in January 2000 by the Law Offices of Peroutka and Peroutka in association with The American College for Cultural Studies, and is being used nationwide to train people just like you to push back the tide of liberalism flooding this country. Gain a strong historical foundation so you may fight back against the encroachment of power by every level of government, and have a chance of winning the battle.
"The Constitution Party stands firmly on the principles of government laid down by our Founding Fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. Unlike other political organizations, we do not believe these principles are outdated. We also recognize that the Constitution of the United States of America is actively the supreme law of the land and must be enforced. Our government has become a problem because these principles are ignored and not followed and that the people have allowed this to occur. We need a return to a government that is limited in its scope and structure; protects all innocent life; protects liberty, not suppresses it; and allows the free pursuance of happiness, not regulation of it. In the spirit of the Declaration of Independence it is time to remove power from that 'faraway' government in Washington, D.C. and return it to the people, states and local communities."
