The Oath of Office
What is the oath of office? Are elected officials keeping their oath? This month's Institute on the Constitution Continuing Education Class will address these questions and more as we explore "The Oath of Office".
If we as a nation seek to acquire the favor of God and to maintain the blessings of the liberty intrusted to us, it is essential that we elect only those individuals who understand and uphold the oath to which they swear. Regrettably many citizens have never considered what the oath of office requires of our elected officials or whether, indeed, those officials are performing their oath. Institute on the Constitution host, Randall Yearout, will guide us through a look at the oath, the terms of the oath, the meaning of those terms, and the importance of electing individuals who understand and uphold "The Oath of Office".
